Version 1.6.0 Released

Version 1.6.0 of EclipseME has been released. This release sports an early release of the Antenna-like preprocessor support built into EclipseME. You can see how this new functionality is used by looking at the documentation. This functionality has taken a long time to see the light of day, but it is important to note that there is still a long way to go until this functionality is as polished as it should be. Because of the need to implement this functionality without the help from the underlying Java compiler (see this Eclipse bug for more information), there are certain user-facing shortcomings that will likely never be able to be solved. I want to extend special thanks to Ben Hutchison and Ed Welch for all of their prerelease testing of the new preprocessing functionality.

EclipseME may be installed and updated via the EclipseME Update site as well as via an Eclipse site archive file downloadable from Sourceforge. Point Eclipse at http://eclipseme.org/updates/ to install via the update site. This version of EclipseME supports versions 3.1 and 3.2 of the Eclipse platform. This is likely the last version of EclipseME that will officially support version 3.1 of Eclipse.
