Version 1.2.1 Released
Craig Setera — October 30, 2005 @ 9:25 pm — New Releases
A new version of EclipseME has been released. There are no new features in this release, but it fixes nearly 15 bugs that were outstanding in the 1.2.0 release.
Refer to the installation instructions at http://eclipseme.org/docs/installation.html. EclipseME may be installed and updated via the EclipseME Update site as well as via an Eclipse site archive file downloadable from Sourceforge. Point Eclipse at http://eclipseme.org/updates/ to install via the update site. If you encounter issues with EclipseME, please visit http://eclipseme.org/docs/support.html for more information on support options.
IMPORTANT: Beginning with Version 1.1.0, EclipseME supports only Eclipse 3.1. Support for Eclipse 3.0 is no longer included. Users of Eclipse 3.0 must use Version 1.0.0.

Hi, im a j2me games developer and just found this plug in i love eclipse over netbeans, but im managing to make it work (the Type java.lang.String Error preverifying class java.lang.String is allways there, even when this 1.2.1 version is the only one i have ever tryed) i think it would ve a good idea to have a src or sources folder which would be the default one for the source code files to solve this project because apparently SOMETIMES the “exclude” workaround doesnt work.

I’ve been strugglin for 1 week to install it and no sucseed. Would it be possible to have download version of Eclipse with EclipseME already configured?
December 12th, 2005 at 7:07 pm
It will not be possible to download a version of Eclipse and EclipseME combined via eclipseme.org or sourceforge. The size of the combination is just too large. The installation instructions can be found at http://eclipseme.org/docs/installation.html. If you are still having trouble, please look for help in the user’s mailing list rather than these blog comments. If you still have trouble, you may want to consider Yoxos (http://www.yoxos.com)

I use Eclipse1.3.1 and EclipseME1.2.1
When I write chinese word in the jad, the file manifest.mf is not correct in the jar package .I change UTF-8 to ASCII in the ultraedit, it display some do not understand code. I don’t know it is a bug?
December 13th, 2005 at 8:47 pm
Please bring support questions to the user’s mailing list. There were previous problems with this in EclipseME. You may want to check to make sure you truly have version 1.2.1.

I find the core problem.
The file *.jad ’s default code is utf-8; the file manifest.mf ’s default code is ascii. So it cann’t display correct chinese word.
