Version 1.1.0 Released

Craig Setera — August 20, 2005 @ 7:11 am — New Releases

A new version of EclipseME has just been released. Refer to the installation instructions at http://eclipseme.org/docs/installation.html. EclipseME may be installed and updated via the EclipseME Update site as well as the previous archived site. Point Eclipse at http://eclipseme.org/updates/ to install via the update site.

IMPORTANT: Beginning with Version 1.1.0, EclipseME supports only Eclipse 3.1. Support for Eclipse 3.0 is no longer included. Users of Eclipse 3.0 must use Version 1.0.0.

Version 1.1.0 is the first release in the new development line. This new release contains a number of new features and bug fixes. If you encounter issues with EclipseME, please visit http://eclipseme.org/docs/support.html for more information on support options.

This new version includes the following changes:

Enhancements

  • Rework the “guessing” of appropriate configurations and profiles
  • Add support for IMP-1.0 and IMP-NG profiles thanks to Siemens (Still not entirely working)
  • Add support for Sun’s 2.3 WTK (Beta) (RFE 1250670)
  • Add SonyEricsson 2.2.1 Support (RFE 1251497)
  • Allow per-project overrides of packaging and obfuscation options (RFE 1044266)
  • Add support for Nokia Developers Suite for J2ME 3.0 (RFE 1260455)

Bug Fixes

  • Fix for problems saving J2ME project properties on Java 5 (Bug 1234066)
  • Fix file encoding issues when reading/writing JAD files and exporting Ant build files (Bug 1251502)
  • Possible fix for Bug 1238251 (Bug 1238251)
  • Don’t package the project-specific settings in the .settings directory (Bug 1234820)

    Ethan,

Please clarify exactly what you are trying to do. You may want to use the eclipseme-users mailing list for better support options.

Sorry this is a completely O.T.

It seems that this web server drops traffic coming from the ISP Telefonica Spain (the biggest in spain)

I have tested it with 2 different IP’s (clients) from that ISP.

It works with others ISP’s or if I use anonymous proxyes, but sadly we can’t use Eclipse update features.

    Thank you

    Sergio,

The site is hosted by lunarpages.com. Would you be able to contact them? I can contact them, but I’m afraid they will have questions that only you can answer concerning what you are seeing. In the meantime, you could also download the site archive from Sourceforge and install using that.
