Version 0.9.4 Released
Craig Setera — June 18, 2005 @ 3:22 pm — New Releases
Final 1.0 Beta Release
A new version of EclipseME has just been released. Refer to the installation instructions at http://eclipseme.org/docs/installation.html. EclipseME may be installed and updated via the EclipseME Update site or by downloading the archived update site. Point Eclipse at http://eclipseme.org/updates/ to install via the update site. Make sure to read the migration information provided in the previous entry.
Version 0.9.4 is hopefully the final beta release before the version 1.0 release. Unless users experience serious issues with the 0.9.4 release, expect version 1.0 to be declared in about two weeks. During this beta period, the focus will be on fixing bugs rather than the addition of new features. If you encounter issues with EclipseME, please visit http://eclipseme.org/docs/support.html for more information on support options.
This new version includes the following changes:
06/18/2005 - Version 0.9.4
IMPORTANT: The bug fix for Bug 1118126
(”Honor the export settings of Java Build Path entries”) is a potential “breaking
change” for EclipseME users who import the contents of one EclipseME project
into another. See the Migration page for a discussion
on this change.
Enhancements
- Switch the JAD editor to use drop down selection for configurations and profiles (RFE 1168803)
Bug Fixes
- Honor the export settings of Java Build Path entries (Bug 1118126)
- Provide “Clear UEI Cache” button on J2ME Properties page (Bug 1178940)
